The 2nd annual Starfish Charity Gala is an outreach to benefit our area's most vulnerable children and families. Hosted by Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida, the Gala will be a spiritually uplifting evening featuring an elegant seated dinner and live symphonic music provided by musicians from Sinfonia.

Guest speaker Immaculée Ilibagiza, nationally known author of Left to Tell, Led By Faith, and Our Lady of Kibeho, has been featured on 60 Minutes, CNN, The Oprah Winfrey Show, EWTN, The New York Times, USA Today, and more.

Immaculée will share her inspiring and miraculous biography of survival, grace, and forgiveness during the Rwandan genocide of 1994.

The Starfish Charity Gala is a semi-formal event celebrating the work of Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida. The mission of Catholic Charities is to serve, to empower, and to advocate for vulnerable families and individuals of any race, religion, or national origin. Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida, located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, provides counseling, adoption services, food pantry services, emergency financial assistance, and much more to those in need in Okaloosa and Walton counties, 80% of whom are non-Catholics.
